Day 01 :

Arrival in Paro | Transfer to Thimphu

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, your guide will welcome you and begin your journey toward Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital city.
En route, visit Tamchog Lhakhang Iron Bridge, built by the legendary bridge builder Thangtong Gyalpo.
In Thimphu, visit the towering Buddha Dordenma overlooking the valley and explore the Memorial Chorten, one of Bhutan’s most visited spiritual landmarks.

Day 02 :

Thimphu Cultural Exploration

Visit the impressive Tashichho Dzong, the seat of the King’s office and central monastic body.

Later, explore the Motithang Takin Preserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal, the takin.

Day 03 :

Druk Wangyel Festival at Dochula Pass | Transfer to Punakha

Today is the highlight of your journey.
Drive to Dochula Pass (3,100m), where the famous Druk Wangyel Festival takes place beside the 108 chortens.
Enjoy traditional performances presented by the Royal Bhutan Army, celebrating Bhutan’s modern history and military victory while preserving cultural expression.
On clear winter days, the Himalayan panorama from Dochula is extraordinary.
After the festival, descend into the warmer valley of Punakha.

Day 04 :

Punakha Valley Exploration

Visit the majestic Punakha Dzong, strategically located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers and considered one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.
Walk across the scenic Punakha Suspension Bridge and visit Chimi Lhakhang, the famous fertility temple associated with Lama Drukpa Kunley.

Day 05 :

Punakha to Paro

Day 5 – Punakha to Paro

Day 06 :

Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

Today you will undertake Bhutan’s most iconic experience—the hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the valley floor, this sacred monastery is one of the most revered pilgrimage sites in the Himalayas. Guru Rinpoche is believed to have meditated here in the 8th century after arriving on the back of a flying tigress.
The hike takes approximately 4–5 hours round trip depending on pace.
Return to Paro for a relaxed farewell evening.

Departure from Paro

Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a relaxed breakfast before your transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
