Trongsa Tshechu — Sacred Mask Dance Festival of Central Bhutan

Held inside the historic Trongsa Dzong, the Trongsa Tshechu is a major winter religious gathering featuring sacred Cham dances performed by monks and lay dancers to honor Guru Rinpoche and protect the kingdom. Scheduled from January 5 – January 9, 2028, it is one of the most important Tshechus in central Bhutan.
