Jakar Tshechu
One of Bhutan’s most authentic religious festivals, the Jakar Tshechu is held inside the historic Jakar Dzong in the spiritual heartland of Bhutan. Over four days, monks perform sacred masked cham dances while villagers from remote valleys gather in traditional dress for blessings, celebrations and community gatherings.
